The mission of Los Alamos Family Council, Inc. is to promote emotional and social well being through advocacy, education, prevention, and counseling.

To accomplish the mission, LAFC runs 3 programs:

Community Health Council

Events

LAFC is seeking veterans and their families who need support or therapy to deal with PTSD or everyday adjustment issues. No charge.

Val Juerling is offering Sand Play therapy for children.

The WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Group meets every Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the LAFC offices.

Life Skills for teenagers meets every Monday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
